About Choice Towing & Recovery
Choice Towing & Recovery is a locally, independently owned and operated towing company based in Fort Collins, Colorado, with a second location in Greeley. We tow, recover and help drivers across Larimer and Weld counties 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, from a dead battery in a campus parking garage to a loaded tractor-trailer on its side along I-25.
What We Do
We handle the full range of towing and roadside work for Northern Colorado drivers and businesses:
- 24-hour towing for cars, trucks, SUVs, luxury, classic and specialty vehicles, local or long distance. See towing in Fort Collins.
- Roadside assistance: jump-starts, lockouts, flat tire changes and fuel delivery. See roadside assistance.
- Heavy duty towing and recovery for semis, tractor-trailers, buses, RVs, cement mixers and work trucks. See heavy duty towing.
- Off-road recovery and winch-outs from mud, snow, ice and water. See off-road recovery.
- Equipment hauling for forklifts, scissor lifts, skid steers and more. See equipment hauling.
- Cash for cars, including free towing on every car we buy.
Built Around Heavy Duty
Heavy towing is where we put the most into our people and equipment. Our heavy towing operators are WreckMaster Certified, trained in the rigging and recovery methods that keep a bad situation from getting worse. Our fleet of over 20 trucks, trailers and service vehicles includes heavy duty wreckers ready to tow and recover semis, buses, motor homes and commercial trucks along I-25, US-34, US-85 and US-287. When a commercial vehicle goes down in Northern Colorado, getting it moved safely is the job we are built for.
Two Locations, One Dispatch
- Fort Collins: 209 N. Link Lane, Fort Collins, CO 80524
Both locations run through the same 24/7 dispatch at 970-482-0159. Fort Collins covers the Larimer County side, including the foothills and canyons. Greeley puts trucks close to US-34, US-85 and the Weld County communities. See our Greeley location page.
Where We Work
We serve Fort Collins and the surrounding communities of Bellvue, Berthoud, Carr, Drake, Glen Haven, Greeley, Johnstown, Laporte, Livermore, Loveland, Lucerne, Masonville, Milliken, Nunn, Pierce, Severance, Timnath, Wellington and Windsor. In most of our service area, we can typically arrive within 20 to 30 minutes of your call. Canyons, rural roads and bad weather can add time, and our dispatchers will always give you an honest estimate.
How We Treat Customers
Our goal is simple: serve you with respect, explain the process, and offer a clean, safe and comfortable experience. That means telling you up front what affects the cost of a tow, because our towing rates depend on the vehicle, the location and the situation. It means a dispatcher who gathers the right details the first time. And it means operators who treat your vehicle like it matters, because to you, it does. We are committed to 100% customer satisfaction on every job, small or large.
Our People
Towing is a skilled trade, and our team is the reason customers call us back. We look for safe, responsible operators who take pride in the details, the kind of person who notices how other tow trucks secure a load and thinks about how they would do it better. For the right candidate, we provide on-the-job training in towing, recovery and hauling. If that sounds like you, visit our contact page for current openings.
Who We Work With
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and cash. Our business partners include Allstate Motor Club, GEICO, NSD, FleetNet America and Quest. Commercial customers can apply for a credit account through the application on our contact page.
